On this week’s episode of “Bria Does Art” I’d like to feature the amazing art exhibition, Returning the Gaze by the equally wonderful, Jordan Casteel. Jordy is an artist who lives and works out of New York, NY, and most importantly she is my family-friend. I am beyond proud of her. Through her up and coming success and fame, she has remained golden on the inside, and still remains one of the best humans I’ve ever met! I was so happy to be there for the moment her art was featured in her hometown of Denver, at the Denver Art Museum. I urge all of you to go see the exhibit!! And to my black people, I REALLY urge you all to go see us represented in some of the most beautiful paintings I’ve ever seen. I took loads of photos in my excitement at the exhibit and will post some favorites below!
