Yesterday I posted an extremely personal blog post and due to it, and what I was going through leading up to it, I am so grateful to be surrounded by such a caring group of people. First of all thank you for reading. Second, I want to thank my mom, sister, family, friends, sorors, and community members that I have known most of my life. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for showing up for me, believing in me, consoling me, and loving me. I would not be where I am today without you all and I am so thankful!

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this quote made me think of all of you. “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.” You all are my light. Thank you. Happy MLK Day folks!
